Following the women's-exclusive release of the Air Jordan 5 earlier this year, the new colorway pays homage to the iconic Air Jordan 8 colorway from 1993. The shoe boasts a vibrant wash of "Aquatone" accents, which adorn the tongue trim, pull tab, and the sectioned tread underfoot.

The shoe's upper is made of supple jet-black nubuck, and the semi-translucent vents on the midfoot panel and tongue infuse a lightened touch. The spiky midsole's vibrant "Taxi" contrast adds to the shoe's striking design. The tongue tabs feature a "Silver Metallic" finish, while the embroidered Jumpman on the shoe rounds out the decorations, paying tribute to Chris Paul's extended PE worn during his time as a New Orleans Hornet.
